Winter Solstice

This year the winter solstice occurs on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 11:49 PM EST in New Bern, I didn't realize that it could be the 20th, 21st or 22nd, it can change each year! 

Leap year is the changing force.

The winter solstice offers a new beginning of brighter days, it marks the first day of winter for the Northern Hemisphere and the shortest day.
