A windchime story

We had some customers come in the other day looking at these sweet windchimes, made out of drift wood and fused statined glass. 

"It's all in the sound. Do you have any more?" 

This couple tinkled every one, "this is IT!!"

Then they told us the story.

They moved here from the end of Long Island. One winter day they were walking on the beach, the surf had splashed and frozen, making the entire beach look like diamonds. The blowing wind across the ice made a tinkling sound, just like our windchimes! 

 

They were thrilled to find the exact sound. We were thrilled to!!

Each one sounds a little different, it depends on a lot of things - how thick the glass is, how long, where each piece hits one another. 

We have an assortment of these windchimes, in an assortment of colors and sizes. EVERY one is unique, from the drift wood to the glass.
