Working far outside my comfort zone in workshop with Dan Nelson

We just finished a workshop with Dan Nelson. Filling our paintings with light and color was a big focus of the workshop and just what I needed!

I really wanted to stretch myself and do something I normally would not do. Not because I don't want to do it, just don't know how.

Here is how it went.

Don't know that it is exactly finished but in the manner I would normally paint I would NEVER attempt to do anything with this much foliage!

Much more colorful and interesting in my opinion.
