Spring in New Bern
We went on a much needed vacation for 2 1/2 weeks in March. The only bad thing about it was that the warm winter caused spring to came early so we missed the explosion of color from the dogwood and azaelas.
We've lived in New Bern since 1989 and I never tire of painting it. As I ride my bike through town I always see something new or a different way of looking at what I've seen before.
I will turn many of these photos into paintings! As I complete them I'll post them in this blog.

Your photos are beautiful. So glad we moved to New Bern too. I love walking the streets and looking at all the beauty that surrounds us. Cannot wait to see your new paintings.
