I LOVE living in New Bern and North Carolina is an amazing state, but even though I haven't lived in Michigan in 34 years there are still some things I miss about it.
Like
the cherries and the varied agriculture
the cider
the lilacs
the lakes - over 11,000 lakes and ponds
clear water - no salt - no alligators or sharks

the cooler summers
seeing family
of course there are things I don't miss too, which I won't mention here!
